September at H-FARM: First Achievements and New Traditions

“It's a really great new environment. There are so many talented students here — and being surrounded by them helps you learn more.”

Tilek Nurmamatov, a new TLF scholar at H-FARM International School

That's how Tilek describes his experience after a month at the school. Let's take a look inside our partner school in Italy and find out what made September memorable for TLF scholars.

Getting to know the school and celebrating the first achievements

The new school year began with a campus tour, introducing students to the school and the story behind H-FARM International School.

September brought the first achievements alongside the start of classes! TLF scholars competed in the final of the Italian Olympiad in Informatics (Olimpiadi Italiane di Informatica): Lyubimir won silver, while Radomir took bronze. Congratulations to both students, and good luck in the selection process for the national team competing internationally!

Sports and little traditions

Alongside their studies, students have started attending sports clubs. There are several activities to choose from, ranging from football and tennis to fitness and even archery!

The students have already developed their own little traditions: cooking together in the shared boarding kitchen at weekends, while the boys also get together to play football.

Weekends beyond the campus

Weekends at H-FARM are full of things to do. Students can visit the Valecenter shopping centre, go on an excursion or try an outdoor activity. In September, the scholars visited Treviso, some explored Venice independently, and others tried kayaking on the river. Some also went to a rugby match to cheer on the local team.

The school year has only just begun, but September has already brought new friends, the first achievements and traditions of their own.
