Entrepreneurship Track: Entrepreneurship Becomes Part of the TLF Programme
This academic year, TLF scholars have a new opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills as part of their regular academic programme — the Entrepreneurship Track.
The scholars are already familiar with entrepreneurship: last academic year, they took part in Startup Academy, and during the summer they worked on business ideas at the TLF Tech Camp in Barcelona. Now, this experience is becoming part of the academic year.
How the Entrepreneurship Track Works
The programme is designed for TLF scholars in Grades 10–11 and includes several components:
-
an additional entrepreneurship class throughout the academic year;
-
teamwork on their own projects — from market research and testing hypotheses to developing a product and preparing a pitch;
-
entrepreneurship camps, where students can work intensively on their ideas and receive feedback from experts. A two-day mini-camp is planned at each TLF partner school during the autumn break.
“What inspires me most is watching a team go from their first idea in September to a confident pitch in front of experts at the camp in Barcelona in June. Along the way, students learn to work as a team, take responsibility for their role and respond to feedback from practitioners. This is difficult to gain through classroom learning alone.”
— Olga Litvinova, Head of Entrepreneurship at TLF

The First Sessions in Cyprus
The first Entrepreneurship Track sessions have already taken place at The Island Private School in Limassol. Olga Litvinova conducted a diagnostic test, spoke with the students about their interests and then led a session on the foundations of entrepreneurial thinking.
The students discussed how to identify real needs, create value for customers, study competitors and test an idea before investing significant time and resources in it.
TLF scholars at H-FARM International School will be the next to join the Entrepreneurship Track.
An interest in entrepreneurship and experience developing their own projects are becoming part of the new TLF educational pathway and will also be considered as part of the selection process for future applicants.
From Barcelona to the Regular Programme
The Entrepreneurship Track builds on the experience TLF scholars gained during the summer at the TLF Tech Camp in Barcelona, organised in partnership with Harbour.Space, a university focused on technology and entrepreneurship.
