TLF Students Shine at the JetBrains Programming Challenge in Cyprus

TLF Students Achieve Strong Results at the JetBrains Programming Olympiad 🚀

In early December, 14 TLF students took part in a programming olympiad organized by JetBrains in Paphos, Cyprus 🇨🇾. They were accompanied on the trip by Computer Science teacher Sergey Shashkov.

All participants successfully passed the online qualification round and competed in a three-hour contest featuring nine challenging problems.

Results to be proud of:
🥉 Nikita Pimenov — 3rd place, awarded an iPad from TLF.
🏆 Munar, Mikhail Ostapenko, and Polina Varlamova — Top 10 finishers.

All participants also received gifts from TLF, JetBrains, and The Island School.

Before the competition, the students visited the Neapolis University Paphos campus, where JetBrains runs a bachelor’s programme in Computer Science & AI — a great opportunity to learn more about future academic pathways.

👏 Congratulations to all participants on their excellent results!
