TLF Team Wins Silver at FAIO 2026

The TLF team has won silver at FAIO 2026! Maria Shilo, Artem Konyuhov and Amir Daiyrov, TLF scholars at The Island Private School in Cyprus, earned silver medals at the international machine learning olympiad.

Out of more than 573 teams from 28 countries, only 47 reached the FAIO final. Our scholars were among the medallists.

Two days and eight machine learning challenges

The final took place on 27–28 October in Kazakhstan. Over two days, participants had to tackle eight machine learning problems, from working with data to finding solutions using artificial intelligence algorithms.

The competition was demanding: 118 finalists from 15 countries faced problems that tested both their knowledge and their ability to quickly get to grips with new approaches.
